Relation between astrology and Vastu

Written by

There is three kind of power consists inside the human body explained in Vedic science - spiritual power, mental power and physical power. We need the knowledge of best practices in Vedic science to bestows the human power in our life-cycle.

“Marriages are made in heaven” this is what we all accept as truth but reality is quite different from our dream world. In the real world, marriage is a string of unremitting adjustments. We would like to believe that love, commitments and little sweet romantic compromises will let us have a smooth sail through our married life, but the harsh reality is that a good physical relationship is a crucial ingredient in the recipe of a stable and happy married life.

According to astrology, five planets i.e.; sun, Saturn, mars, Rahu and Ketu in addition to the twelfth lord of a horoscope when afflicts the marriage related houses, spell disaster in married life. To rise above these afflictions, we need to view things from a fresh perspective.

Planet Venus is the prime indicator of physical relation and marriage and afflictions to Venus causes mayhem in married life. The main planets associated with physical relations in a horoscope are:

  1. Sun (;"o{)- braveness, soul, health and leadership
  2. Moon (rGb|df)- interpret about relationship between couple, imagination, lust, love, romance, emotions
  3. Mars (d+un)- interpret about braveness, marriage, aggression, lust, blood circulation etc.
  4. Mercury (a'w)- rules flirtations, intellectuality, multiplicity and impotency
  5. Jupiter (j[x:klt)- rules conscious, education and spiritual journey
  6. Venus (z'qm)- interpret about strength of reproductive organs
  7. Saturn (zlg)- technology, impotency, likes foreplay and unusual physical inclinations
  8. Rahu (/fx')- interest in outcasts, foreigner, married men or women
  9. Ketu (s]t')- rules reproduction of generation

The houses linked to physical relations in a horoscope are:

1. 5th house- thinking power, education, kids, brain, imagination

2. 7th house- primary house of faith in relationship, thought, physical relations, internal relationship

3. 8th house- Health, life journey

4. 9th house- Dharma, spiritual knowledge, luck

5. 10th house- Karma, working power, property

5. 12th house- expenditure, enlighten and travel

Whenever there is a combination of Mars and Moon and Venus in a horoscope, there is overindulgence in physical desires with Mars adding aggression to it. Retrograde Mars or Venus inflicts unusual physical inclinations and never leads to a suave relationship, a person with this planetary position either completely abstains from any kind of physical relationship or carries things to an extreme. If the Mars position in 1st, 4th, 7th, 8th and 12th house it indicates problematic relationship in couple's life.

Saturn and Rahu instil fear and phobia towards physical relations. Whenever Saturn is placed in 3rd, 6th, 10th or 12th house of a horoscope, the person is more fascinated with foreplay rather than actual intercourse.

The presence of Saturn in these houses can lead to separation in married life, but if the life partner understands the need of the other partner going through this phase, such situations can be dealt appropriately. Generally, sadhe-sati of Saturn or dasha related to Saturn or Rahu and the sun is the time of life when these secrets get disclosed causing disharmony and separations in married life.

If society becomes more aware and calculations of the horoscope are suitably done by a competent astrologer, unwarranted complications can be solved. If these trends are detected early and the astrologer’s advice is followed properly, a couple can have a deeper and long-lasting relationship in a feasible manner.

If a person having aforementioned planetary position in their Kudali and life chart, it is advised to consult an Astro-consultant to wave those problems.

Astrology : An Introduction

Written by

Astrology is the most important branches of Vedic science. The Vedic philosophy has (j}lbsbz{g zf:q) five sub-branches –Shabdashastra (Jofs/0f+ d'vd\), Jyotishshastra Chachhu (Hof]ltifzf:q+rIf'), Shruti Shastra (>'tLzf:q), Nirukta (lg?St), Kalpa Shastra (sNk zf:q).

There are 3 departments in Jyotish Shastra (Hof]ltifzf:q) – Siddhanta, Sanhita and Horashastra, Siddhanta (Mathematical)Shastra explains about the planet positions (Sun, Moon, Marsh, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu, Ketu and Galaxy) and counts Panchanga (Tithi, Bar, Nakshatra, Yog, Karan)etc.

Sanhita Shastra explains of the movement of planets and effect on natural and human life accordingly.

The Hora Shastra explains about the past, present and future of elements and schedules of natural life and human life journey.

What is Human life chart?

There are 12 Rashis, 12 Lagnas, 9 planets and 28 nakchhatra mandal explained in Vedic astrology. These are major elements to effect in human life chart and astrologers may able to explain the past, present future of life according to their movement and effect. One has to understand the negative and positive effect of planets in human life.

Here, it would be better if we understand clearly what is meant by Luck, Effort and Destiny. Destiny is certain, it cannot be changed or altered by human effort, whereas luck is that uncanny phenomenon which takes out the deficiency of efforts to make us get over destiny.

If efforts represent E, if luck represents - L and if destiny represents D, then E + L = D.

That is, one's destiny is preordained but to achieve it, one has to make efforts supported by better luck; you would get it with much less effort. Suppose one has to become an Engineer. That is his destiny. The effort part of the equation would make you learn science subjects and the better phase of the life would see it that one passes successfully with better marks to get admission in an Engineering College and qualify as an Engineer. In case one does not get support of his luck, one would have to do great efforts to get one's due, which means one cannot stop his efforts.

Astrology only tells about the good or bad phase of life about the luck part of the equation to enable to do efforts in accordance with the phase of life one is passing through.

Bhrigu Samhita

Bhrigu Samhita gave precise predictions for every second of human life. He worked very laboriously for many years to determine the planetary positions, judgement of longevity and their consequent effects on human beings for the full duration of life believed by Astrological calculations to be of 120 years of life span. Since Astrology was developed as a science to study the effect of heavenly bodies on the human life, the planets have also been symbolised in conformity with general human emotions as marvels of the World Astrology.
